Appropriate for preteens and early adolescence. I bought this for my thirteen-year-old son and think he will like it. It is chockful of good, helpful advice for outdoor survival and the illustrations are pretty decent.
This is the best survival book I've EVER read. With full color illustrations and well spoken sentences, this book is AWESOME for any kid who likes the wilderness.
Great fun to read. 101 skills every american boy needs to be self-reliant outdoors. Great for a child in boy scouts. CAREFULL this book is Character-building.
I haven't read through it thoroughly yet to see if the activities really do work But it is put together well. Cartoon illustrations. Focused on getting potable water and shelters. It is bigger than it looks in the picture - not a pocket book by any means.
Looks like this is going to be fun. I can't wait to give it to my boy for Christmas. Shipping was very fast, packaging was great.
